Sarah Allison focuses her legal practice on advising and defending government defense contractors and their insurance carriers with respect to claims arising under the Defense Base Act (DBA) extension of the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the War Hazards Compensation Act before judicial and administrative tribunals of the U.S. Department of Labor. Based in Manhattan, Sarah also advocates for her clients in War Hazards Compensation Act claims, ensuring her clients are reimbursed for Defense Base Act benefits paid when the employee injury is deemed a war-risk hazard.
Sarah’s prior legal practice includes defending insurance litigation resulting from premises liability and personal injury claims in New York. Her previous experience also extends to commercial matters for global clients in an international law firm.
