Goldberg Segalla added Amat Fatimah to the firm’s Civil Litigation and Trial practice group in Buffalo.

Amat counsels and defends clients in a variety of civil matters, including construction site personal injury claims involving New York State Labor Law, product liability, premises liability, insurance defense, and motor vehicle accidents involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death claims. Amat draws on more than eight years of experience working as assistant counsel for one of the largest global property and casualty insurers where she had success with dispositive motions and appellate briefs on various matters including those involving complex Labor Law and product liability claims, and handled related discovery, motions in limine, and pre- and post-trial motions.

Amat earned her L.L.B. from the University of London and her J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law.
