Alexander J. Speir devotes his practice to counseling and defending insurers in coverage arising under a variety of policy types, conducting thorough legal research to assess coverage issues, and collaborating on strategic case development. Alex has a strong litigation background, having served as an assistant district attorney at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York. In that role, he regularly appeared in court, managed a large caseload, and advocated for survivors to ensure their voices were heard throughout the legal process. Before that, he served as a law clerk in the Domestic Violence Division of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago, Illinois.
