Goldberg Segalla added Brooklyn J. Crockton to the firm’s Transportation practice group in Garden City.
Brooklyn counsels and defends clients regarding a variety of civil matters with a focus on businesses in the transportation, trucking and logistics industries, handling all stages of litigation from initial investigation through depositions, motion practice, and trial. Her experience includes defending clients against multi-party exposure claims involving industrial chemicals, asbestos and environmental contaminants, high-exposure medical malpractice claims, and complex insurance litigation. Brooklyn conducts early case assessments in order to identify liability exposure and develop trial defense strategy, then collaborates with the client to determine the path forward, whether disposition through motion practice or settlement negotiations. Prior to joining Goldberg Segalla, she practiced with a firm focused on tax controversy. While in that role, she delivered Continuing Legal Education programs on federal tax issues, and presented to the U.S. House Ways & Means Committee on the impact of small business amortization.
Brooklyn earned her B.A. from Daemen University and her J.D. from the Robert Williams University School of Law.
