Goldberg Segalla added Moneeka Brar to the firm’s Transportation practice group in Manhattan.

Moneeka dedicates her practice to clients in the transportation, trucking and logistics industries, handling a variety of civil litigation matters including motor vehicle/trucking liability, property damage, personal injury, insurance coverage and contractual disputes. She draws on experience practicing workers’ compensation law, managing a high volume of cases while deposing medical experts, taking witness testimony, developing appeals and rebuttals, and appearing before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. During law school, Moneeka held legal internships with firms in New York and in London, where she conducted research and drafted legal documents including demand letters, response to discovery, withdrawal of counsel, and summons and complaints.

Moneeka earned her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her J.D. from the Syracuse University College of Law.
