Goldberg Segalla added Kevin M. Cannizzaro to the firm’s Retail and Hospitality practice group in Albany.
A highly accomplished civil litigator with 10 years of experience advising and defending all branches of county government in New York State, Kevin offers Goldberg Segalla clients the benefits of his finely-honed skills as both an advocate and a litigator. As a partner in the firm’s Retail and Hospitality practice, Kevin guides developers and retailers through complex land use, zoning and permitting processes with an insider’s perspective of government decision making, and delivers proactive, cost-effective strategies to reduce risk and minimize exposure. In employment and labor matters, he counsels national retail and restaurant operators as well as hotel and hospitality enterprises with practical, real-world solutions shaped by his experience managing workforce issues for a major public employer. Kevin has substantial experience litigating civil matters from inception through trial, and has developed excellent working relationships with members of the courts of the State of New York, including the U.S. District Court for the Northern District and the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division. He has served as lead counsel in personal injury matters, civil rights actions, appeals, and municipal defense matters.
Kevin earned his B.A. at the University of Buffalo and his J.D. from the University of Buffalo School of Law.
