Goldberg Segalla added Christiana Ampofo to the firm’s Retail and Hospitality practice group in Baltimore.
Christiana counsels and defends clients in the retail and hospitality industries in a wide range of litigated matters, including premises liability, personal injury, negligent security, product liability, and corporate disputes. An experienced trial attorney, she brings valuable insight from her work as an assistant public defender with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, where she managed cases from initial appearance through trial and sentencing. Christiana has served as first chair in bench trials, examining witnesses, arguing motions, and delivering oral advocacy in high‑stakes, time‑sensitive environments. She also brings financial regulatory experience from her role as an honors associate with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Rockville, Maryland.
Christiana earned her B.A. from the American University and her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
