Experience
Elizabeth K.S. Land counsels and represents licensed professionals in a variety of professional liability matters alleging errors and omissions, negligence, undelivered services and missed deadlines. She draws on her experience litigating complex environmental actions involving contaminants such as PCBs, perchlorate, and PFAS.
While pursuing her Juris Doctorate at the Villanova University School of Law, Elizabeth enhanced her legal skills through various roles in the criminal, immigration, and commercial litigation sectors. As a legal extern to the Defender Association of Philadelphia, Elizabeth examined witnesses and argued motions at the Juanita Kidd Stout Center for Criminal Justice, successfully defending her clients against felony and misdemeanor charges. As a student attorney with Villanova’s Clinic for Asylum, Refugee and Emigrant Services (CARES), she drafted motions and advocated for her clients’ immigration rights. Elizabeth also gained experience interning with the Hon. Linda Carpenter at the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Her background further includes other intern and summer associate roles involving habeas corpus, merger and acquisition (M&A), securities, and consumer protection litigation.
