Goldberg Segalla added Matthew C. Walsh to the firm’s Civil Litigation and Trial practice group in Syracuse.

Matt focuses his practice on civil litigation defense, representing clients in premises liability, product liability, construction, medical malpractice, and labor and employment matters. He assists clients through all stages of litigation, from case assessment and discovery through motion practice, mediation, trial preparation, and trial. Before joining Goldberg Segalla, Matt represented businesses and professionals in a variety of civil matters including complex medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death cases. He has experience drafting and arguing complex motions, managing discovery, preparing witnesses for deposition, collaborating with expert witnesses, and supporting trial teams through verdict. His background also includes motion practice before both trial and appellate courts in New York.

Matt earned his B.S. from Southeastern University and his J.D. from the Albany Law School of Union University.
