“Exclusion Never Belonged in Scout Law,” Buffalo Law Journal

In this Buffalo Law Journal editorial, Sean P. Beiter, Chair of Goldberg Segalla’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, shares his thoughts on the Boy Scouts of America’s recent move toward eliminating its ban on “open and avowed” homosexuals from Scouting membership.
“Over the last three decades, Scouting has expanded its outreach,” Sean writes. “All of this outreach and inclusion has been lost in the large shadow cast by the exclusion of individuals from membership on the basis of their sexual orientation.”
