Goldberg Segalla paralegal Denise S. Murphy was featured in the Buffalo Law Journal’s “Five Questions” column, where she discussed what it takes to be a successful paralegal, how the paralegal role has evolved over the years, and unexpected opportunities that may come up in the job.
“We are absolutely more involved in the cases than we used to be,” Denise told the Buffalo Law Journal. “I am involved in the case as soon as it comes in the door. … I’m kind of the keeper of the file, if you will. That entails knowing and understanding the file and all the details in it. I know so many paralegals who work elbow to elbow with the attorneys and are incredibly involved in each case, so things have changed a lot.”
