Joseph M. Hanna, a partner in Goldberg Segalla’s Business and Commercial Practice Group, provided insight on proposed state regulation of drones for a Newsday article examining regulation of the increasingly popular — and highly controversial — remote-controlled aerial devices.
Joe noted that many states are proposing drone limits to get ahead of the trend. New York lawmakers, he said, have proposed barring the use of drones for surveillance or hunting, and restricting law enforcement use.
