“Many CPAs do not understand how professional liability lawyers can assist them, or at least do not understand entirely,” writes Jonathan S. Ziss, a partner in Goldberg Segalla’s Professional Liability Practice Group. “Certainly, they may get you out of trouble, such as by defending lawsuits; but they are also skilled at helping you stay out of trouble in the first place.”
