Albert D’Aquino Quoted in “Medical Malpractice Cases Pay Out Most in New York,” Buffalo Business First

Partner Albert D’Aquino, co-chair of the firm’s General Liability practice, was quoted in an article for Buffalo Business First discussing complex medical malpractice cases in New York State.

In “Medical Malpractice Cases Pay Out Most in New York,” Al discusses the challenges young attorneys experience when facing veteran attorneys—with years of experience—who are generally the opposition in malpractice lawsuits.

“(It) makes the cases among the most contentious to go to trial,” Al said. “I think the plaintiff firms that are taking medical malpractice cases are being more selective to get cases they can actually get a recovery from. Facing a professional and experienced group of medical malpractice attorneys who really only specialize in this makes it hard to win.”
