Cheryl A. Possenti, a partner in Goldberg Segalla’s Product Liability Practice Group, was interviewed for a Buffalo Law Journal and Business First article examining the importance of international capabilities and a global presence for U.S. law firms.

“In order to be a full-service law firm, to take care of a large or multi-national client, you have to have the capacity and talent to take care of whatever their needs might be,” Cheryl said, noting that she travels frequently in her practice representing manufacturers that sell goods worldwide and insurance carriers in China and Taiwan that sell to the U.S. market. Her biggest hurdle, she added, has been the lack of harmonized standards for products.

Goldberg Segalla has litigated cases nationwide in addition to several Canadian provinces, Cheryl told the Buffalo Law Journal, with clients stretching into 10 countries in Europe, Asia, and South America. She added that Goldberg Segalla opened an office in London in 2012.
