In a recent Law.com and South Florida’s Daily Business Review article by Litigation Reporter Lisa Willis, renowned Goldberg Segalla partner Frank Ramos answered questions about his background, career success, and what advice he would give to young attorneys and professionals – advice he shares daily on his highly-followed LinkedIn account.

Over the past decade or so, Frank has built a large following on social media, providing tips for how to navigate law school, attorney career development, and the importance of strategic personal planning at every stage.

In the article entitled, “Meet ‘THE Frank Ramos’ 75k Followers Want to Hear What This Lawyer’s Got to Say,” Frank encourages attorneys to be introspective and build their careers with determination and consistent effort. “No matter where they are in whatever stage of the career they’re in, it’s important to get a sense of where they want to be, whether it’s a number of years from now or what they want to be doing,” he said.

Frank acknowledges the time constraints and high-pressure challenges traditionally associated with the profession and provides words of encouragement and support for consistent and incremental strides toward clearly defined goals.

“Maybe having an accountability partner, having somebody over our shoulders to make sure we’re doing what we said we’re going to be doing, and promise what we promised ourselves, I think is important, because I think often what we do as lawyers is so subsuming and so much comes at us all at once that it’s easy not to keep the bigger picture in mind and not to continue advancing the ball and doing things we need to do to advance our careers and ourselves professionally…,” he said. “There’s nothing that I write that is all that exciting or thrilling by any stretch of the imagination. It’s just basic life advice I’ve learned in my 52 years on this planet.”

He has grown his LinkedIn connections to an audience of nearly 75,000 followers who appreciate his honest insights shared daily with candor, commitment, and kindness. His empathetic approach has made him an excellent addition to Goldberg Segalla, who prioritizes collaboration over competition and is happy to have him on the team.

“I’ve respected Frank for a long time and am delighted to be working with him,” said Joseph M. Hanna, Goldberg Segalla Hiring Partner, Management Committee member, and Retail and Hospitality practice group Co-Chair. “He is well connected, well respected, and an excellent ally in building out our South Florida presence where our clients have growing needs.”

Goldberg Segalla’s West Palm Beach Administrative Partner and Co-Chair of the Retail and Hospitality practice group, Rod J. Janis, agrees. “Frank Ramos is a nationally recognized leader in providing top-notch defense counsel to clients across the country,” Janis said. “A true lawyer’s lawyer and advocate’s advocate, Frank’s reputation for reaching out to, encouraging, supporting and mentoring attorneys in Florida and beyond is exceptional. He genuinely cares about his clients and colleagues alike and it shows in everything he does.”
