Eight Goldberg Segalla attorneys were selected by their peers in the legal profession for inclusion in the 2016 Legal Elite of Western New York, a list published by the Buffalo Law Journal and Business First of the region’s most respected attorneys.

As in past years, individual Goldberg Segalla attorneys have garnered high-profile distinctions in the report. For the third consecutive year, Goldberg Segalla Managing Partner Richard J. Cohen was honored in the Legal Elite Leaders section, which highlights those at the helm of the area’s 10 largest law firms and other legal organizations. In addition, associate Ryan G. Pitman, a member of the firm’s Business and Commercial Practice Group, was named a Legal Elite Rising Star, an accolade given to just six attorneys across Western New York. This year marks the first time the publication has recognized up-and-coming attorneys as part of its Legal Elite report.

In all, fifteen percent of the firm’s Buffalo office again made the Legal Elite list this year, the maximum allowed for any firm, and is reflective of Goldberg Segalla’s prominent Business and Commercial, Global Insurance Services, General Liability, Employment and Labor, Product Liability, and Sports and Entertainment Practice Groups, among others.
