Goldberg Segalla Continues Climb Up NLJ 350

July 7, 2015

In a year when attorney count across the nation’s largest law firms inched up a total of only 0.6 percent, Goldberg Segalla grew 15.4 percent, according to data collected by the National Law Journal for its 2015 NLJ 350 list of the largest U.S.-based firms.

That makes Goldberg Segalla the 12th-fastest-growing firm overall — sixth among those in the top 200 spots — excluding firms newly formed through a merger.

The 2015 NLJ 350, published by the National Law Journal in June, places Goldberg Segalla at the No. 200 ranking based on attorney head count in 2014. That marks an impressive leap of 116 spots since the 14-year-old firm debuted on the list three years ago.

Since the beginning of 2015, the firm has continued that momentum with the addition of more than 35 lawyers across its 14-office footprint, which includes the opening of two new offices in St. Louis, Missouri, and Greensboro, North Carolina.

All of Goldberg Segalla’s growth has been accomplished through the natural addition of single lawyers or small teams at a time, based completely on client demand and never through a merger. At the same time, the firm has earned international accolades that place it alongside or even above the very largest and longest-established firms in the world.

These accolades include rankings in the highly regarded Chambers directories in both the United States and the United Kingdom, the Law Firm of the Year award from Reactions at the prominent insurance and reinsurance publication’s 2014 London Market Awards, and the Insurance Law Firm of the Year honor from Lawyer Monthly.

Coupled with the firm’s regular placement atop regional and statewide rankings of the best places to work, these honors demonstrate how the firm’s Best Practices service philosophy and collaborative culture result in greater levels of client satisfaction and the continued growth of long-term client relationships.
