Goldberg Segalla Honored With U.S. Flag in Recognition of Efforts by Bunkers in Baghdad

June 14, 2011

Members of the U.S. Army serving in Iraq showed their appreciation for the efforts of Goldberg Segalla LLP and partner Joseph M. Hanna by honoring the firm with a U.S. flag that was flown over Camp Victory, Baghdad, earlier this spring.

The flag was presented to the firm on Flag Day by the 40th Expeditionary Signal Battalion in recognition of the work of Bunkers in Baghdad, an organization founded and managed by Mr. Hanna to provide new and used golf balls, clubs and equipment to those currently serving in combat zones in Iraq, Afghanistan and nine other countries around the globe. The organization also supplies golf equipment to wounded warriors programs around the country to aid in the rehabilitation of our injured veterans.

Since its inception in 2008, Bunkers has collected and shipped out more than 2 million golf balls and over 50,000 golf clubs, with more arriving daily.
