Goldberg Segalla Makes Dress For Success Drive a Firm-Wide Effort

Goldberg Segalla recently embarked on a firm-wide Dress for Success clothing drive that collected professional attire to donate to disadvantaged women seeking to enter the workforce or advance their careers.

The effort closely followed Goldberg Segalla’s participation in another Dress for Success drive sponsored by the Minority Bar Association of Western New York (MBAWNY). Both efforts supported the national Dress for Success initiative, which works to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools needed to help women thrive in work and in life.

Contributions were coordinated by Goldberg Segalla’s Diversity Task Force, a team of partners and associates from throughout the firm’s various offices led by Buffalo office partner Joseph M. Hanna. The drive resulted in a sizable donation of items, including suits, separates, shoes, handbags, cosmetic bags, and scarves.

“We were thrilled to have an opportunity to participate in an initiative that is near and dear to our hearts,” said Mr. Hanna, a past President of the MBAWNY. “The partners and associates who make up our Diversity Task Force share a strong commitment to increasing diversity throughout the legal profession, and this is one small way to help make that goal a reality.”
