This recognition — awarded to only eight companies in the region — comes from Long Island Business News and Best Companies Group. Winners were chosen based on extensive research that included a questionnaire of benefits offered, including average salary, health care, paid time off, and employee programs, coupled with an online survey of employees. Goldberg Segalla is the only law firm to make the list.

Goldberg Segalla’s profile in Long Island Business News cited the firm’s relaxed dress code, free Friday breakfasts in all offices, monthly birthday parties, mentorship opportunities, and small gestures of appreciation from Team Kindness. It noted a culture “built … on systems that reward working together and growing long-term client relationships over internal competition.”
