Goldberg Segalla Names Albert J. D’Aquino Co-Chair of General Litigation Practice Group

Goldberg Segalla LLP has named partner Albert J. D’Aquino, one of the founding members of the law firm, co-chair of its General Litigation Practice Group.

As co-chair of the group, Al will help oversee a team of nearly 40 attorneys across the firm’s offices who practice in a wide range of areas focused on defense litigation. These areas include Appellate, Construction, E-Discovery, Municipal and Governmental Liability, Toxic Tort and Environmental, Transportation, and Workers’ Compensation. Thomas F. Segalla is also co-chair of the group.

Al has served the legal needs of clients across New York State for more than 20 years. He focuses his practice on trucking industry defense, professional malfeasance defense, product liability and litigation of cases presenting catastrophic damages. With his depth of trial experience, he is responsible for trial technique training of associates at Goldberg Segalla, and he has written and lectured on various topics related to trial practice, including accident reconstruction strategies and aggressive defense techniques.

Al recently completed his term as president of the Professional Liability Defense Federation, and he is currently State and Local Defense Organizations Vice Chair of the Defense Research Institute’s Trucking Law Committee. He received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his J.D. from Pace University School of Law.
