Goldberg Segalla Names New Partners

Goldberg Segalla is pleased to announce the law firm has elected Marc W. Brown, Thomas J. O’Grady, and S. Philip Unwin to its partnership.

Newly elected partners are:

  • Marc W. Brown, of the Buffalo office, focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation. His experience includes litigation pertaining to real property title claims defense and coverage matters, real property tax certiorari proceedings, contractual disputes, personal injury, products liability, toxic torts, and collection enforcement. He has extensive appellate experience and is a former judicial clerk in the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, Fourth Department.
  • Thomas J. O’Grady, of the Princeton office, has extensive experience in commercial, product liability, and toxic tort litigation, and has handled a vast array of other civil litigation matters including the defense of employment disputes, class actions, and professional liability claims. He serves as Chair for the Product Liability and Toxic Tort Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and he is an editor of Goldberg Segalla’s New Jersey Product Liability and Consumer Fraud Defense blog.
  • S. Philip Unwin, of the Rochester office, focuses on defending workers’ compensation claims and Section 120 discrimination claims. He has handled hundreds of trials at the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. As a Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant, he assists clients with Medicare Set-Asides and conditional payments, and he advises them of their rights and obligations under the Medicare Secondary Payer laws in both workers’ compensation and general liability claims.
