Goldberg Segalla added associate Susi K. Yanez to the law firm’s General Liability Practice Group in Newark, officially passing the 400-attorney mark in its offices nationwide.

Susi focuses her practice on counseling and defending clients in a variety of general liability claims involving civil rights violations, civil litigation, and commercial litigation. Her background also includes representing Spanish-speaking clients in workers’ compensation claims. Susi received her bachelor’s in Political Science from Bloomfield College before going on to earn her juris doctor from the Pace University School of Law. As a law student, she served as an intern in the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office and the Special Victim’s Unit of the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, and as an extern in the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office and the Juvenile Unit of the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. Following law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Liliana DeAvila-Silebi in the Superior Court of Passaic County. Susi is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, the Passaic County Bar Association, and the Justice Robert L. Clifford Inn of Court.
