Goldberg Segalla Ranked Among Fortune’s Best Workplaces in New York for 2020
Goldberg Segalla has again ranked among Fortune’s Best Workplaces in New York for 2020, according to an annual survey from Fortune and the people analytics firm Great Place to Work.
Over 45,000 employees across New York State responded to more than 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organization creates a Great Place to Work For All™. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization, no matter who they are or what they do. Great Place to Work analyzes these experiences relative to each organization’s size, workforce make up, and what’s typical in their industry and in the New York State or the tri-state/New York Metro Statistical Area. The remaining 15 percent of the rank is based on an assessment of all employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of their leaders, to ensure they’re consistently experienced.
Goldberg Segalla ranked 15th among small and medium-sized companies throughout the state, and has appeared on the list every year since 2012.
Companies ranked on the annual list underwent an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The process also included a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
In addition to the Fortune’s Best Workplaces in New York ranking for nine consecutive years, Goldberg Segalla has received numerous accolades highlighting its founding principles of teamwork, diversity, and inclusion. It has twice been named the Best Place to Work among all large employers in Western New York, where the firm is headquartered. It has ranked among the top five large employers in Illinois, the top 10 in both Pennsylvania and Maryland, and the top 15 in New Jersey and Florida. It was also recognized nationally as one of the Best Workplaces in Consulting and Professional Services by Fortune and Great Place to Work every year since 2018.
