Goldberg Segalla Recognized by Construction Executive on The Top 50 Construction Law Firms List for 2021

June 7, 2021

Goldberg Segalla was recognized by Construction Executive (CE) in the magazine’s The Top 50 Construction Law Firms ranking for 2021. The firm placed 29th on the list.

Since first being published by Associated Builders and Contractors Services Corp. in 2003, CE is the leading trade magazine about the business of construction. In its June 2021 issue, CE published a comprehensive ranking of The Top 50 Construction Law Firms featuring breakouts and analysis, accompanied by an article focused on how legal teams are aiding clients with sharpening contract language and pivoting in response to COVID-19 challenges.

To determine the 2021 ranking, CE asked hundreds of U.S. law firms with a construction practice to complete a survey. The data collected included: 1) 2020 revenues from the firm’s construction practice; 2) number of attorneys in the firm’s construction practice; 3) percentage of firm’s total revenues derived from its construction practice; 4) number of states in which the firm is licensed to practice; 5) year in which the construction practice was established; and 6) the number of AEC clients served during fiscal year 2020. The ranking was determined by an algorithm that weighted the aforementioned factors in descending order of importance.

Attorneys in Goldberg Segalla’s Construction practice serve the multifaceted needs of clients in distinct and specialty sectors of this industry, nationwide, tackling the full spectrum of public, private, and hybrid projects of all sizes, from inception to completion. The multidisciplinary team can handle any aspect of construction law, from construction litigation to defects, Labor Law/worksite injury, contracts and procurement, MWBE issues, OSHA, workers’ compensation, professional lability, coverage, and employment.
