For more than two decades, BTI has published a ranking of client service excellence for the corporate law firm market.

The analysis is based on 17 ranking factors after extensive interviews with clients of each firm. Of the 650 core law firms that serve large and Fortune 1,000 clients, only 207 law firms are singled out in this year’s report for delivering excellent client service, meaning 68.2% of law firms serving this market were not recognized.

This ranking comes at a time when client service appears to be slipping across the industry. Per the report, only 35% of corporate counsel recommend their primary law firms to a peer, which is down from 69% just four years ago.
