Goldberg Segalla added associate Adam R. Durst to the firm’s Global Insurance Services Practice Group in Buffalo.
Adam focuses his practice on insurance coverage law and coverage litigation in state and federal courts. His practice involves counseling insurers and policyholders on their respective coverage obligations or entitlements under first-party and liability policies, including occurrence-based and claims-made coverages, and handling complex coverage litigation.
Adam earned his bachelor’s from St. John Fisher College, graduating magna cum laude, and went on to earn his law degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo, again graduating magna cum laude. During law school he was finalist in multiple moot court and advocacy competitions and worked with the Buffalo Human Rights Law Review, first as a law clerk and later as executive publication editor. He is an active member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and earned the organization’s “Man of the Year” Award for Rochester in 2014.
