Goldberg Segalla added Alex J Ru to the firm’s Global Insurance Services practice group in Manhattan.

Alex is an accomplished litigator who advocates for insurance carriers in a range of matters, providing coverage analysis of primary and excess policies, collaborating with claims professionals to develop successful and cost-efficient case resolutions, and representing insurers in insurance coverage litigation. He draws on experience handling complex and general liability matters ranging from construction injury and employment litigation to professional liability, product liability and municipal liability claims. Alex has also supported his clients’ position at mediations with National Arbitrations and Mediation as well as before judges in New York State and in U.S. District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Alex earned his B.A. and M.A. from Stony Brook University and his J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law.
