Goldberg Segalla added Alicia Quarterman to the firm’s Employment and Labor practice group in Buffalo.

Alicia focuses her practice on counseling and defending clients in employment and labor matters, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage‑and‑hour issues. She supports clients through all phases of litigation, from early assessments and pre‑suit negotiations through final resolution. In addition to her litigation work, Alicia provides proactive guidance to employers by reviewing employment policies and evaluating employee handbooks to help minimize legal risk.

Before joining the firm, Alicia gained experience as a law clerk, conducting in‑depth legal research, analyzing case law, and assisting with the preparation of pleadings and other litigation documents. While earning her Juris Doctorate, she also served as a legal extern for a community-based healthcare organization, where she supported the in‑house legal team by reviewing and drafting contracts, handbooks, and internal employment-related policies.

Alicia earned her B.A. from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and her J.D. from the University of Buffalo School of Law.
