Goldberg Segalla added Ari D. Berlfein to the firm’s Retail and Hospitality group in San Francisco.

Ari concentrates his practice on premises liability, personal injury, negligent security and other civil matters, with an emphasis on representing clients in the retail and hospitality industries ranging from owners and developers of shopping centers to regional and national retailers, hotels and resorts, restaurants, and fitness facilities. He draws on experience serving as a legal intern for a California firm specializing in construction defect law, where he documented on-site collection of evidence, researched and wrote memos addressing legal questions regarding construction defect law, and helped prepare matters for mediation. Ari also refined his skills preparing cases, researching and drafting briefs, and developing legal strategies while interning with the Marin County District Attorney’s office.

Ari earned his B.A. from the University of California, Davis and his J.D. from University of California Law, San Francisco.
