Goldberg Segalla added Brandon N. Newell to the firm’s Civil Litigation and Trial and Retail and Hospitality groups in Manhattan.

Brandon focuses his practice on counseling and defending clients in a variety of civil disputes, including contract liability, premises liability, and personal injury. He is involved in all stages of the litigation process from inception through resolution, including research, investigation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial. Brandon’s practice has included general liability, insurance defense, labor law, and commercial litigation. After graduating from the University of Miami School of Law, Brandon was a senior law clerk with a New York law firm where he gained experience drafting merger and acquisition contracts, term sheets, letters of intent, financing agreements, and various SEC filings for publicly traded, start-up, and special purpose acquisition companies.

Brandon earned a B.Mus. from Long Island University, a M.Ed. from University of Georgia, and his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.
