Goldberg Segalla added Associate Brendan B. Gilmartin to the firm’s General Liability group in Manhattan.

Brendan is an experienced litigator who focuses his practice on counseling clients in complex construction, professional liability, and catastrophic injury matters in both state and federal courts. Brendan has represented clients in general negligence, product liability and construction defect matters, as well as construction worksite injury matters involving New York Labor Law §§ 240(1), 241(6), and 200. His background includes successfully mediating multimillion-dollar breach-of-contract suits and obtaining dismissal and contractual indemnity on summary judgment. He has extensive experience conducting depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.

Brendan earned his bachelor’s degree at New York University and his J.D. at Brooklyn Law School. During law school, he was a judicial intern in the commercial division of the New York County Supreme Court for the Hon. Charles E. Ramos.
