Goldberg Segalla added Carmella M. Seslar to the firm’s Toxic Tort and Environmental Law practice group in Newark.

Carmi represents clients in a broad range of environmental matters, including site remediation, redevelopment, permitting, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and real estate transactions. She advises on all aspects of site remediation and compliance under both state and federal law, with experience navigating statutes such as the Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA), Spill Compensation and Control Act (Spill Act), Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Clean Water Act (CWA), and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). Carmi also brings extensive litigation experience in state and federal environmental matters, with a particular focus on resolving liability at complex Superfund sites and representing potentially responsible parties (PRPs).

Carmi earned her B.A. from King’s College and her J.D. from the St. John’s University School of Law.
