Christian A. Cavallo and Christopher R. Weiss have joined Goldberg Segalla in Princeton, adding to the law firm’s multidisciplinary presence in New Jersey and further strengthening the capabilities of its transatlantic Global Insurance Services Practice Group.

Chris Cavallo, a partner, is a seasoned insurance coverage litigator with extensive experience representing insurers in high-value cases in the state and federal courts of New York and New Jersey. He was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2015 in New Jersey and was the recipient of the Thurgood Marshall Award, which was given to him by the New York City Bar Association for his pro bono work representing a death-row inmate.

He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he received the Robert J. Fiske Jr. Fellowship Award, in 2007, and his B.A. from Providence College in 2003.

Chris Weiss, an associate, represents insurers in complex insurance coverage disputes and has significant experience working on behalf of insurers embroiled in matters arising from Superstorm Sandy. His experience also includes defending a range of entities and individuals in professional liability and premises liability actions.

He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the American University Washington College of Law in 2010 and was inducted into the Order of the Coif upon graduation. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Ohio State University in 2007.
