Goldberg Segalla added Conor J. Stremlau to the firm’s Toxic Tort and Environmental Law practice groups in Chicago.
Conor focuses on the defense of manufacturers and suppliers in high-exposure litigation involving asbestos, silica, and benzene. He represents corporate defendants in state and federal courts, handling all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, managing written discovery, and arguing motions. Conor has experience taking and defending depositions of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, and corporate representatives, and works closely with clients throughout mediation and settlement negotiations. Prior to joining Goldberg Segalla, he practiced general liability, trucking, and toxic tort/asbestos law at a private, regional law firm. In that role, Conor managed matters from inception through resolution and served as the lead associate for a Fortune 500 company.
Conor earned his B.A. from Illinois State University and his J.D. from the Southern Illinois University Simmons Law School.
