Dorothy De Marinis

Goldberg Segalla added Dorothy De Marinis to the firm’s Toxic Tort and Environmental Law groups in Newark.

Dorothy is a skilled litigator with more than 20 years of experience counseling and defending Fortune 500 companies, major product manufacturers, educational institutions and public entities in actions involving personal injury, product liability, and toxic torts. Throughout her career, she has also defended class action, breach of warranty, labor law, employment, intellectual property, real estate, and an array of commercial contract for local entities. Her zeal and inquisitive perspective led to pursuing several novel issues to victory being featured in both The New York Law Journal and Law360. Dorothy has successfully litigated against some of the largest law firms in America, and advocated alongside lobbyists and international brokers on the landmark transformation of the New York Penn Station Gateway Project. As a former Administrative Law Judge for the City of New York, she learned firsthand which arguments persuade judges and juries.

Dorothy earned a B.S. from St. John’s University, an International Law Certificate from the University College of London Faculty of Laws, and a J.D. from the Pace University School of Law.
