Goldberg Segalla added associate Elizabeth M. Lautenbach to the firm’s Toxic Tort group in Newark.
Liz focuses her practice on counseling and representing property owners, manufacturers, distributors, and others in toxic tort litigation spanning a wide variety of alleged exposures. She also handles premises and other general liability claims along with insurance coverage matters. She has experience in all stages of litigation, including settlements, depositions, compliance conferences, pre-trial conferences, and oral arguments. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Middlesex County Bar Association.
Liz draws on experience as a law clerk for the Hon. Jamie D. Happas, the presiding judge of the Civil Division in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex Vicinage. She also interned for the Hon. Joseph A. Dickson in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Hon. Dennis F. Carey III, former presiding judge of the Civil Division in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex Vicinage. She was also a corporate compliance fellow with Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey, where she advised and created policies pertaining to the HIPAA privacy rule. She earned both her bachelor’s degree and juris doctor from Seton Hall University.
