Goldberg Segalla added Ian B. Forman to the firm’s Construction Litigation and Counsel group in Garden City.
Ian is an accomplished litigator with extensive experience counseling and defending owners, construction managers, contractors, and others in complex construction litigation and New York Labor Law cases. He has also served as outside counsel for several insurance carriers in general casualty matters with a primary focus on construction actions, labor law, and premises liability. In addition to his construction practice, Ian handles automobile liability, premises liability, intentional torts, and insurance coverage matters. He is responsible for all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts from inception through trial and appeal, as well as mediation and arbitration. Ian has appeared for conferences and researched, drafted and argued motions and appeals in the First and Second Departments of New York State’s Appellate Division.
Ian earned his B.S. from Washington University in St. Louis and his J.D. from the Loyola University New Orleans School of Law.
