Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Jeffrey Cunningham

Goldberg Segalla added associate Jeffrey Cunningham to the firm’s Management and Professional Liability group in White Plains.

Jeff focuses his practice on counseling and defending attorneys, accountants, and other industry professionals in a wide range of professional liability matters. With nearly 10 years of experience, he draws on a broad background in civil litigation including commercial disputes, malpractice claims, directors and officers (D&O) liability, employment and labor law, catastrophic personal injury, and premises liability. Jeff has extensive experience in both state and federal courts and in all phases of litigation, including conducting depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.

Prior to entering private practice, he was a legal intern for the Queen’s District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted misdemeanors and violations in Queens Criminal Court under the supervision of assistant district attorneys for Fordham Law’s Prosecution Clinic. He also spent time as a legal intern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office South District of New York Criminal Division.

Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree from The Citadel in Germany, where he spent time as a cadet second lieutenant and the editor-in-chief of the Brigadier newspaper. Following his time at The Citadel, he studied at Universität Marburg on a Fulbright Scholarship. He pursued his juris doctor at the Fordham University School of Law, where he was the associate editor for the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law.
