Goldberg Segalla added John E. Lienert to the firm’s Toxic Tort and Environmental Law practices in Philadelphia.

With nearly 20 years of litigation experience – including more than 13 years dedicated to toxic tort and asbestos personal injury defense – John represents manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and premises owners in complex, high-stakes multi-party matters. A skilled trial attorney, John has served as co-national coordinating counsel for a major industrial equipment manufacturer and has extensive jury trial experience as both first and second chair, achieving successful outcomes for clients. Recognized for his strategic approach, thorough preparation, and courtroom advocacy, he has argued cases before trial, appellate, and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

John earned his B.A. from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law.
