Goldberg Segalla added Jonathan A. Beatty to the firm’s Civil Litigation and Trial group in Hartford.

An experienced litigator, Jon is well versed in general tort litigation, insurance defense, personal injury, construction, and product liability matters. With more than twenty years as a trial attorney, his practice has also included defense of premises and auto liability, workers’ compensation, Dram Shop, bad faith, uninsured motorist claims, and contract disputes. Handling all aspects of a case from intake through trial and appeal, he has successfully tried eighteen cases to verdict. Jon has argued before both the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme courts. In addition, he routinely advises top-level insurance company representatives on risk management in catastrophic loss cases, death cases, and high value risk litigation, as well as case evaluation and defense, settlement, and trial strategy.

Jon earned his B.S. from Boston College and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
