Goldberg Segalla added associate Matthew E. Selmasska to the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Arbitration and Product Liability groups in Philadelphia.

Matthew concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation and product liability matters. He draws on a broad background in civil litigation defending professional liability, construction, employment and labor, insurance coverage, and general commercial litigation matters. He has experience in both state and federal courts and before a variety of domestic arbitration forums in all phases of litigation, including conducting depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials. Locally, Matthew serves as chair of the Professional Liability Defense Federation’s Miscellaneous Professional Liability and Cyber Claims Committee.

Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina and his juris doctor from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, where he served as an executive editor of the Arbitration Law Review. In law school, he gained experience as a judicial intern for the Hon. Robert E. Simpson in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.
