Goldberg Segalla added Melanie J. Condon to the firm’s Global Insurance Services group in Manhattan.

Melanie focuses her practice on counseling and defending insurers in a variety of complex coverage matters. She is involved in all stages of insurance coverage litigation, including preparing cases for filing; drafting complaints and written discovery; conducting legal research in preparation for motion hearings; and participating in depositions, hearings, and mediations. Melanie draws on experience as a claims specialist for a national mutual insurance company, collaborating with defense counsel on defense strategy, mediation, arbitration, and settlements, and coordinating with coverage counsel on claims that have significant coverage issues and high exposure.

Melanie earned her B.A. from Syracuse University and her J.D. from the Brooklyn Law School.
