Goldberg Segalla LLP is pleased to announce Michael J. Leegan has joined the law firm as special counsel in its Princeton office.
Mr. Leegan is a civil trial litigator who concentrates in the defense of insureds, insurance carriers, self-insureds, and individuals in all aspects of civil law, including matters involving premises liability, automobile accidents, products liability, general negligence, insurance coverage, and bad faith litigation in the state and district courts of New Jersey. He has tried more than 15 cases to verdict. He is a frequent speaker on trial practice and topics in his areas of concentration.
Mr. Leegan is a member of the Defense Research Institute, where he serves as the organization’s State Representative for New Jersey. He is a member, past president, and past board member of the New Jersey Defense Association.
Previously, Mr. Leegan was a partner at Hack, Piro, O’Day, Merklinger, Wallace & McKenna. He received his B.A., cum laude, from The Catholic University of America in 1992 and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1995.
