Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Sandra M. Bonnick

Goldberg Segalla added special counsel Sandra M. Bonnick to the firm’s General Liability group in White Plains.

Sandra is an experienced attorney who focuses her practice on general liability matters for local and federal government agencies, hospitals, nonprofits, and private medical practices. With more than 20 years of experience, Sandra has successfully handled all types of civil litigation, including multiple complex cases involving legislative, policy, and economic analysis; health care; medical malpractice; regulatory compliance; and sensitive business relations. Her litigation experience spans negligence, personal injury, construction and labor law, general liability, automobile, premises liability, and municipal law matters—including multiple trials. She has handled every aspect of litigation, including appearing in state and federal courts, briefs, motion practice, and discovery.

As executive agency counsel for the New York City Transit Authority Department of Law, Sandra supervised personnel, junior attorneys, and paralegals coordinating over 500 pre-trial investigations of complex litigation annually. Prior to entering private practice, she was a senior policy analyst for the Permanent Judicial Commission on Justice for Children in the New York State Unified Court System, where she worked with the 40-member commission appointed by the Chief Justice of the New York Court of Appeals.

Sandra received her bachelor’s degree and master’s in health finance and management from New York University. She pursued her juris doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.
