Goldberg Segalla added Shane Hoover to the firm’s Retail and Hospitality group in San Francisco.

Shane is a skilled civil litigator known for his proactive and efficient approach to case development, management, and resolution. His trial experience includes defending complex personal injury, toxic tort, municipality, and insurance matters, representing a range of clients from large businesses to local municipalities in state and federal courts throughout California. Recognized by Super Lawyers as one of their Rising Stars in 2024 and 2025, Shane was called one of San Francisco’s top-rated class action and mass torts attorneys.

Outside the courtroom, Shane continues to serve as a Command Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army Reserve, where he oversees a Battalion unit and is responsible for training, discipline, and combat readiness. He deployed to Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn. Shane has twice earned the Meritorious Service Medal for exceptional military performance.

Shane earned his B.A. from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and his J.D. from the Humphreys School of Law.
