Goldberg Segalla added Vikas Bowry to the firm’s Transportation group in Philadelphia.

Vikas counsels and defends clients in a variety of complex civil litigation claims with a focus on the transportation industry. He draws on experience representing self-insured entities with respect to premises and product liability matters. His background also includes working as a member of a special investigations unit, representing insurance entities in third-party suits arising from questionable claims, handling in-depth investigations, and preparing opinions relating to misrepresentations.

During law school, Vikas gained experience as an intern at the Widener Law Veterans Clinic as well as to the Hon. Lisette Shirdan-Harris of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. After completing law school, he served as a judicial fellow to Judge Shirdan-Harris, and proceeded to serve as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Edward C. Wright, both of the Court of Common Pleas, First Judicial District. Upon completion of the clerkship, Vikas joined the City of Philadelphia Law Department as an assistant city solicitor.

Vikas earned his B.A. from Simon Fraser University and his J.D. from the Widener University Delaware Law School.
