Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Zachary T. Ruetz
Goldberg Segalla added Zachary T. Ruetz to the firm’s Employment and Labor group in Rochester.
Zac counsels and defends the interests of clients facing employment and labor issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage-and-hour claims. An experienced employment litigator, Zac has represented clients at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Merit Systems Protection Board, Office of Special Counsel, Office of Personnel Management, New York State Division of Human Rights, and U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of New York. He manages matters from inception through completion, including initial evaluation, developing legal strategy, conducting depositions and examinations, drafting pleadings for all phases of litigation, conducting hearings and trials, including cross-examination and oral argument, and negotiating final resolution and settlement agreements.
Zac earned his B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and his J.D. from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
