Jeffrey L. Kingsley, a partner in Goldberg Segalla’s Global Insurance Services Practice Group, was interviewed by Intelligent Insurer for one of its daily editions published during the 2012 Baden-Baden Meeting. The Meeting, held each year in Baden-Baden, Germany, is one of the premier international reinsurance conferences.

Jeff discussed a number of topics on the minds of reinsurers at the conference, including rates, the intrusion of the capital markets via a number of vehicles including insurance linked securities (ILS), the European debt crisis and the Solvency II regulatory framework, a potential U.S. regulatory overhaul the long-awaited Federal Insurance Office’s report, and man-made risks such as cyber risk.
